Anita Wexler's Art

I was born in Illinois surrounded by cornfields. I have my BFA from Parsons New School of Design, M.Ed from National Louis University and my Art Education certification from Bank Street College.  I dreamed of creating art to express myself.  My Native American roots, Aboriginal art, as well as Maori culture all play a part in what I am creating.   I have traveled to 20 countries with many more on my list to visit.  My art reflects the colors of my heritage. a distraction for reality, but look deeper and see the  symbolism emblazoned beneath the layers of paint.
