Anita Wexler

Anita Wexler is a painter, illustrator, sculptor, fine artist and teacher. 

She has a BFA from Parsons New School of Design and Art Education certification from Bank Street College, both in New York City. She also has her M.Ed from National Louis University.  Wexler is currently in her 15th year of teaching at Sarasota High School.  Her artwork has been exhibited locally, nationally and internationally.  Her artwork is in many private collections including that of Jane Seymour and William Wegman. 

"My art is travels through the spiritual world.   I have explored India, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Mexico, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Amsterdam, France, England, Canada, Guatemala, Panama -- too many to list them all to whittle down and find a universal connection.  Visually my art takes you on journey to discover enlightenment within one’s self. I go to the past to bring forth the future.  I create paintings, illustrations, mixed media drawings and assemblage sculpture.  I continue to experiment and grow daily with my art"
